Count the package correctly

Read the package for sheet count and dimensions before comparing two-ply and three-ply products. A package with more layers can still contain fewer sheets or smaller sheets. Count each multi-layer sheet once in the cost calculation.

Observe sheets used per task

Try the product in the actual dispenser and routine before buying a case. Note whether users take fewer sheets or the same amount. Your own observation can support a household choice, but it is not a laboratory strength ranking.

Do not diagnose plumbing from ply

For plumbing concerns, do not use a layer count as a substitute for professional diagnosis. Persistent slow flushing needs investigation rather than an assumption that any one advertised paper type will repair the system.

Before you decide

  • Treat one multi-layer sheet as one sheet.
  • Compare dimensions as well as count.
  • Investigate persistent slow flushing with an appropriate professional.
